The feeling of safety students should assume when attending our University shouldn’t be fear; it should be safe, comfortable. There are many ideas on how the University can improve its security. Although funding is limited, the U of I could express its lighting on campus in the not-s o-well lit areas, offer seminars on campus safety, offer more self defense classes and promote them better, and growth their police presence, which would ease the parent’s worries of sending their children to college.
