Assessing Communicative Skills  The lesson that I chose to teach was taught to the entire dissever including an ELL schoolchild in a summer school program. The lesson plan was moderately sportsmanship and was an important lesson for all the students in the class because of the amount of group sports they will be playing, as a class, this summer as part of their summer program. The students were given a tend of questions to case which I have include at the end of the lesson plan. afterwards they answered the questions, I had each student bring aloud a section of a handout on sportsmanship. I indeed gave them a more formal lesson on sportsmanship. We then reviewed and discussed their answers to the attend of questions I gave them to make sure they fully understood what was realize and the lesson I gave them and to see if any of their original answers had changed. This lesson was great at evaluating reading, writing, comprehension, and verbal skills o f the English Language learner because each was apply at some point or even trio times throughout the lesson. The lesson also gave numerous opportunities for the ELL student to engross with his peers as well as with the teacher. Comprehension : 4 - Understands nearly everything at frequent speech. Although occasional repetition may be necessary. The student was able to follow along with the class discussion and only undeniable clarification on the meaning of a few impeccable ly ric poem. B. Fluency : 4 - Speech in preva! lent conference and classroom discussions generally fluent, with occasional lapses while the student searches for the countersink manner of expression. The student was able to share his thoughts and ideas with the stand-in of the class with only minimal pauses to find the correct discourse or to properly pronounce a few of the sweet dustup he had just learned during the lesson.
